I went to New York City for the Flash Forward 2000 conference and for meetings with a few Web design firms. I arrived Saturday and spent the weekend with my buddy John Rainbow in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We had a blast. I then moved to my hotel in Times Square for the rest of the week. That place is absolutely incredible! It's like an ultra-urban Las Vegas. Over the course of the week I did tons of things (which I describe below). I spent another night at John's and then took a train to Boston. I stayed with my buddy Ern and hung out with a bunch of old friends. Finally I flew home (which was hectic because of a pending airline strike).
