Yahoo Internet Life Online Music Awards

Although many fantastic things happened over the course of the week, my absolute personal highlight was seeing Alanis Morissette perform at the Yahoo Internet Life Online Music Awards. I had read on a fan site that she was going to be there, and I scored tickets through the generosity of Dean's friend. The whole Immersion crew went.

The event was held at the once-upon-a-time-it-was-the-best-club-in-New-York Studio54. I was psyched because they had Internet terminals and an open bar! It was hosted by John Leguizamo (sp?). Since it was an awards ceremony, people would present an award or two and then an artist would perform a set of two songs.

We saw: Alanis Morissete (I Love U Alanis -- Namaste!), David Bowie (he's the man!), Isaac Hayes (he started his set with "Well, Hello Children!"), and a few others.
